'Masked Plover' CocktailBar

The 'Masked Plover' bar is open throughout the day and evening for your pleasure. Overlooking our pool and the majestic expanse of our coast and rainforests.

2 Freeform Pools

Our main Pool is located on the crest of the Headland that is the location for Thala's central complex. This stunning pool features waterfalls, spas and grottos for that late night romantic swim, or just to recline on the edge of the water and gaze out over the ocean. Secluded among the gardens is the "Rock Pool" a smaller and more intimate swimming pool for guests looking for a quiet grove in which to relax.

Birds and Butterflies

Thala is an area exceptionally rich in habitat diversity, making it one of the best places on the coast for bird watching. We also have a wonderful variety of Queensland's Tropical Butterflies. Wildlife Thala's gardens are a thriving habitat for many of our local small marsupials, amphibians, and smaller reptiles. Feel free to ask the staff about the "critters" you may see in and around the Lodge.

Golf

We have a world class 18 hole championship golf course only 10 minutes from Thala, please contact our tour desk or reception to arrange a time.

Picnic Baskets

Contact our restaurant manager or reception to pre-arrange a beautiful Picnic basket. Lunch or an early dinner on the beach, romance beyond compare.

Boutique

Thala's Boutique is open from early morning until after dinner each evening.
