Companies Merge - A Sign Of The Times
Managing Director of Fantasea Cruises, David Hutchen, and Whitsunday All Over’s Managing Director, Trevor Mott are pleased to announce that Fantasea Cruises has entered an agreement to purchase the business of Whitsunday All Over.
“The current downturn in the tourism industry has, unfortunately, affected the financial viability of Whitsunday All Over to such an extent that it has become necessary to merge its operations into our own to save the business,” David Hutchen said today.
Whitsunday All Over principals were considering a purchase offer from an international company when they decided to approach Fantasea Cruises to see if they were interested in taking over the business.
“Our preference was for the ownership of the business to stay local if possible,” Trevor Mott said, “and I was delighted when Fantasea Cruises responded so positively and quickly to our inquiry.”
