The second course created in 1992 by internationally renowned designer Karl Litten, will test the skills of the most seasoned professional presenting a real challenge with tight fairways and plenty of scenic walks for the wayward shot.

Rydges Capricorn Resort's two courses cater to both the low and high handicapper with challenging water carry or open fairways for the less adventurous.
GOLF COURSES
Built on a pure sand belt, this 36 hole layout allows the golfer to experience two very beautiful and challenging courses. As planned, both courses are of international standard and they effectively cater for a wide range of golfing play. Annual Tournaments include a Pro Am
CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE
Rydges Capricorn's second course will test the skills of the most seasoned professional however, for it is a tight challenge. Created in 1992 by internationally renowned designer Karl Litten, who rates it as one the top five courses he has ever been involved with. The first nine is played through meleleuca bush, with plenty of scenic walks for the wayward shot! The back nine is built over and around all shapes and sizes of water hazards. Shot selection and control is critical for successful negotiation of this par 72 course.
RESORT COURSE
For the social golfer there is a classic Thomson-Wolveridge course, which is exacting but forgiving, with wide fairways that cut through beautiful native bushland.

Child Care Facilities
At Rydges Capricorn Resort we provide your children with the best possible
environment in which they can enjoy their holidays.
Our Philosophy
Kids Kapers is licenced as a Long Day Child Care Centre. The Centre is available to children from 2 -10 years. We aim to cater for every individual child's needs and wants, therefore we form 2 groups ie. 2years - 5years and 6years - 12 years.
Our qualified staff encourage your children to participate in a wide variety of developmentally age appropriate experiences. Above all we aim to see that your child's stay at the Resort is as enjoyable and memorable as yours.
Bookings
It is important for you to book children into Kids Kapers in advance. This helps us to prepare and plan for the child's daily activities, according to their age and the number of children in the group. For evening care booking must be made by 4PM
Hours of Operation
Day session hours (complimentary) 8:30am-12:30pm & 1:00pm-5:00pm
Bookings essential. Day Care caters for children from 2-10 years of age

Rockhampton is also a junction of all north, south and westbound coach companies. all major coach operators transit through the region.
BY CAR
We have our own Service Station incorporating our Information Centre which enables you to fuel up at the end of your drive or before you depart, thereby saving that extra stop en-route.
SCHEDULED TRANSFERS
Whether you travel by air, rail or coach, our porters will meet you for your 45 minute scheduled transfer to the resort and provide you with an informative commentary of our facilities en route. Please check our scheduled departure times at the time of booking your accomodation. Transfers are free of charge
