BAREFOOT
CRUISES - REFF ODYSSEY
Reef
Odyssey is a 35 metre expedition style cruise vessel designed to
provide the utmost comfort and stability at sea. Cruising the Great
Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands, Reef Odyssey caters for a maximum
of 39 guests.
This cruise allows you
the opportunity to explore the remoter areas of the Whitsunday Islands
and the Great Barrier Reef in complete comfort and to experience
the elements of adventure that a cruise of this nature provides.
Visit some of the most
magnificent reef systems on the Great Barrier Reef. Experience the
underwater world first hand and snorkel or scuba dive among a myriad
of brightly coloured tropical fish and coral. For those not wanting
to get their feet wet you can board one of the ships glass bottom
boats for an insight into this amazing world.
Stroll the endless white silica sands of Whitehaven Beach, (voted
one of the top ten beaches in the world), take a swim in the crystal
clear waters, then sit back with your favourite cocktail and take
in the splendour of the Whitsundays at sunset. Guests have the opportunity
to participate in guided walks through this World Heritage area
and our Marine Biology Guide will accompany guests on snorkelling
tours and island rainforest walks. Cruising time is kept to a minimum
allowing maximum time for exploring the reef and islands. At night
Reef Odyssey anchors in one of the many sheltered coves or lagoons,
allowing a peaceful uninterrupted sleep. Accommodation is available
in cabins, staterooms and deluxe staterooms, all with private en-suites.
The ship is fully air-conditioned and has comfortable lounge areas,
dining room and cocktail bar.
