Aurora accommodates you in comfort and privacy. The master stateroom features queen size bed, private lounge and two bathrooms, one with Jacuzzi bathtub. The forward guest rooms accommodate a further six guests featuring a large guest bedroom with queen size bed, plus two comfortable rooms, each with single beds. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are stylishly appointed and fully air-conditioned with individual controls in each stateroom as well as the saloon area.

The elegant main saloon creates a wonderful space to relax and unwind with state of the art technology including TV, Stereo and the latest in DVD movies. Whichever way you decide to enjoy yourself, the crew and the full service bar will be on hand to provide welcome refreshments

AURORA DINING

With 3 dining areas aboard, Aurora caters beautifully to any occasion. Just forward of the main saloon, the indoor dining area is perfect for intimate candle-lit dinners or family banquets. On the flybridge, dine al fresco or enjoy a famous Aussie barbeque or perhaps you would prefer to go ashore for a private beach barbeque. The aft deck, just off the main saloon, is covered to provide yet another excellent outdoor dining area. So, however you may choose to dine, you'll find Aurora offers something to suit your tastes.

With the services of your own gourmet chef on hand night and day, you can be assured the fine food and beverages you are served on board Aurora will be, like your cruise itself, a true taste of luxury.

This World Heritage site is a protected area and the world's greatest reef system, stretching more then 2000km along Queensland's north-east coast. As the world's largest and most complex reef system, it has thousands of individual coral reefs and hundreds of continental islands, reef islands and cays, small bare sand cays, and permanent vegetated cays.

The Whitsundays

ACTIVITIES

Diving
Diving - The Great Barrier Reef offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world and with a fully qualified dive instructor on board and all dive and snorkelling equipment, the reef is yours to explore. Scuba diving is offered to both the novice and certified diver. Dive the famous Ribbons Reefs and feed the Giant Potato Cod at the Cod Hole, near Lizard Island… or at the Whitsundays partake in a resort dive for the novice or for certified divers travel a little further to one of the many outer reef sites… just another reason to be part of an Aurora adventure!

Fishing
Fishing - The Cairns/Lizard Island area has long been recognized as the Black Marlin Capital of the world and one of the finest fishing regions. There are various methods of fishing for the Giant Black Marlin, with one of the most successful being a sportfisher and mothership. As well as Marlin Fishing, there is ample opportunity for the angler to do battle with some of the speedsters that the reef is teeming with, such as Wahoo, Mackerel, Barracuda, Dolphin Fish, Sailfish and Tuna. Or perhaps try some reef fishing for the delicious eating Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Sweetlip and Nannygai. We will arrange to have your catch of the day cooked on the bbq.

During the 'big game' season, Aurora will be located on the sheltered blue warm waters of the Great Barrier Reef and positioned near to where the fishing is best. Acting as host to one or more sportfishing vessels, Aurora provides all the comforts a luxury mothership has to offer.
